This is a 1:20 scale model sport truck I designed and built. Inspired by '80s car designs, such as the original Ford Bronco and Range Rover Classic. The truck features opening components, a convertible roof, as well as front and rear axle suspensions. The bench seat is complete with seatbelts and filled with foam under the fabric cover. The middle console of the bench seat pulls down into an armrest.
All components are put together using interference fitted wooden dowels, removing the need for glue. Red elastic bands are used for the front and rear axle suspensions. The white structural frame at the base of the car is a major component that reinforces the structure of the car using dowels in the xy-plane.
